What items can't you take?
Hazardous materials such as paint, chemicals, tires, batteries (especially lithium batteries) and medical waste require special disposal. Ask us about your items.
Can I put lithium batteries in my trash?
No. Lithium batteries are never accepted in trash, bags, carts or containers. When they are crushed in our trucks, they can spark and start fires, putting our drivers and equipment at risk. This includes rechargeable batteries from phones, laptops, power tools, vapes, e-bikes and scooters. Please take them to a battery recycling drop-off, such as many home improvement and electronics stores.
How soon can you be at my home?
Fostoria residents can usually expect next-day service, and same-day service is often available when you call early in the day.
Do I need to be home?
Not for curbside pickup. For bulk pickups, we just need access to the items.
Do you recycle?
Yes — we recycle whenever possible to keep waste out of landfills.
Can my bill be emailed?
